Is the landing where we're having the cookout usable or do we need to pull around and launch somewhere else after we register for the tourney?

yeh, it's WAY early for them to be right but it's supposed to rain late saturday night and go til Tuesdays so the pressure OUGHT to be dropping as we are fishing. That's a good thing. Then the wind will be 7 MPH with 12 MPH guts, still not to bad at all. Things are shaping up for some of those Big ole Barnett Slabs to get caught Saturday in a big way. BTW, you yanks coming to Barnett that don';t know much about it. We do have quite a few 3 pounders in there and a good average fish on Barnett in about 14 to 15 inches. Yah, you'll catch a good many 10-12 inchers but we have some big ole fish and the limit is 30 with no size minimums

I was wondering if we could do that also ScottV.... Not very familiar with Browns Landing and the water is about a foot low right now.

Pretty sure we can launch at Browns. It's shallow and you need to be careful to stay in the channel markers but it SHOULD be usable

Brown's will be fine to launch at. It's only bad when the wind is blowing into it. Be sure to watch your depth when taking off. Afterm looking at 3 different weather forcast, it appears that the wind will be out of the northeast which will be good. I honestly perfer the new ramp behind Tommy's. If I were fishing, I would launch there and then drive over to Brown's landing.
