1st place I'd check is the next deepest set of cover adjacent to where ever the fish were. If that doesn't pan out, I'd go to the next shallowest cover and rig a mix of small and large minnows.
If I'm wrong, let me know.

Ok guys here it is. It is late October crappie are moving shallower but still scattered. Cold front blows in. Temps swing a full 40 degrees in 18 hours.. What do you do to catch fish.. Did the fish go shallow or back deeper? Smaller baits or bigger baits? Live minnows?

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
Man not to catch fish you sure have good answers. That is exactly my plan. well with exception of the bait and I will let you know how it works.
ch, he can always tell you where ONE fish is hanging out......
man you guys are hammerin WB, Im bout to have a "feelin sorry for WB moment" ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh well that passed,it was just gas :D give it to him guys![]()
As much as I HATE to agree with WB, I gots to. Man that hurt. Ray, the boys read enough to know what to do but if he went out in those conditions like you said, he wouldn't do what he is supposed to do. He'd fish where they were instead of where they should be
