Maachuu... They are suppose to be coming out with a new net soon. Not real sure when it will arrive though.
DoubleG
That's it.
Yep....get the one in the bottom pic....the EGO REACH RUBBER Net
Might ought to wait....I understand the new one is going to be easier to put a replacement net on.
well just did some more reading and I saw that they have a rubber coated nylon net or a rubber net, which one do you all suggest ?? that is if I dont wait for the new improved model
thanks

I had one of their new nets in my hands at the CUSA Seminar and ifn you aint as big as me or bigger or Feelay, you better stick to the old model. It is purty heavy. I like the handle in the new one better, but the rubber net and the frame is way too heavy to be stuck out 9'. The handle is very easy to operate but the weight would keep me from buyin it. And plus it'll prolly cost over $50.00 or $60.00.
Thanks Minner, I am trying to get away from the weight when extended because that is what I already have with the cabelas rubber net and handle, I did see then new handle setup that slides with the push of a button but ifn its heavier, then I dont want it for sure

You may love it but I don't. And I know everybody says get the rubber net, but I feel the rubber net is why this new setup is so heavy. I got the nylon net and sprayed a rubber coating on it and it does just fine.
I have the all rubber net on the old set up and its just fine.
I have ordered the new S2 Slider with the coated net. It is a lot lighter. Ego has sent me 2 S1's to give away at the Barnett camp and both have the coated net. The handle is a little weak but should work get with a partner in the boat.
