After around 15 years of crappy service from the monopoly Comcast has in the North MS area, I'm cutting the cord.

Dear Comcast,

I hate you. I really, really hate you. I hate your #%^#$&^#$&^@#@%^; %&#$^@#$^&#%&#@$&*$@*&#&#%& guts! And I hate your crap service and gangster customer service people.

My present Comcast package includes:
1 HD-DVR box
1 Regular (non-HD) box
Internet
* I had the second highest tier w/out movie channels*
= $149 p/mth

AT&T salesman shows up at my door last night. Hallelujah!

My new package includes:
2 HD-DVR boxes (more powerful too. Can record 4 shows at a time)
Internet- Modem comes with wireless router (CC didn't give me wireless)
Phone service (CC didn't give me free phone service)
* I now have the highest tier WITH all movie channels and HD channels. AND I can watch ANY football game on any weekend*
= $157 p/mth


As long as their service doesn't completely blow, I am one happy camper getting away from comcast. They are hooking it up next Thursday:D.

Yes, Comcast does suck!! We had the high speed internet which we were paying $45 a month for then since we wouldn't succumb to them trying to get us to "bundle" & buy more of their services they decided to up our price. So after all the taxes & extra fees my bill for internet alone was about $70 bucks. They must be on crack if they think I am paying back so I too canceled with them & have called AT&T. Good Riddence to Comcast!!!!

My problem with satelite is no high speed internet. If I had satelite for say $90 p/mth, then add in HS internet for $60 or $70 like Nessa said, it all evens back out
