    Default Fire Tiger Carp

Last Thursday I was pulling cranks at Okatibbee when I got hung. I quickly put the reel in free spool and cranked my other poles in. When I started back after my Bandit, I felt a tug on the line and knew then that the stump was swimming. I thought I had a big flathead catfish on because all I could do was follow him around and try to tire him out. After 30 min. or so, I finally got a look at his tail and discovered it was a huge carp. He was snagged just ahead of the tail and I finally got him to the boat and got my Fire Tiger back. Nice one there. I've had them up to 17 pounds on the rez before pulling cranks. Nothing you can do but stop.

Never seen one caught by the tail before. I bet your glad you were using good line. At least you got your crankbait back.

Steve....I think Scott needs to fish out of the back of the boat from now on.

Nope I'm too lazy to run the boat so I guess we need to keep him captain. I like doing nothing but catching fish, if I can keep my fingers out of the way, we need to get back out so I can take back my dinkmaster crown.

I have to admit it....I misread the title and was expecting another Blue Paper Towel story.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
