WB's drawin is xzactly like I tolt him. His drawin skillz do have a lot to be desired tho.
Now, I ain't sayin this is the right way, just the way I do it. And there is no snap swivel/quick connect swivel involved.
I seent a feller down at the spillway the other day sitting on a 5 gallon bucket Usin a cane pole that tied his rigs like DD does.
bet he was catching fesh to, just like DD
None of them fancy detachable swivels, just the old fashioned crane/barrel swivel is all you need. If you need to retie, just throw on a new pre-tied rig or just swap skirts.

Gots a querstion for you that make your pretied rigs. What do you do when you break off the bottom jig only? Do you just cut the whole thing off and retie a new one?. What about the same for the top jig? Do you just cut the whole thing off and retie? EITHER WAY, I just make another drop loop, secure it was a standard loop knot, snip one end and tie on another jig. Bout 45 seconds and I'm back to fishing
Oh okay.. So just two knots to the bottom of the barrel swivel then like this:

Bottom jig, retie if there's enough line. Otherwise throw on a new rig and go. Bout the same time as you with them janky loop knots.
