    Default Question for you seasoned veteran crappie slayers, ok now that the


    water is cooling off (Im fishing Pickwick), should I fish brush, debris, stumps and drop offs or will the crappie be suspending out in open water at a depth? never fished fall crappie and the past summer was first time to fish for crappie in the summer (hot days). i will be spider riggin with jigs, both hair and plastic, I have set up my rods like DD illustration he put on an earlier post. any and all help greatly appreciated. gonna try again on wednesday and just need some pointers in this

    The crappie should be following the shad up the creeks and ditches to shallower water.

    Hey...Smart Alleck just happens to be my forte. When you got something good going, ya stick with it.

    That said, follow the shad. And don't be surprised if they get really shallow.
