IF the wind does what they say it's gonna do, I'll be on Barnett early Saturday til 10ish or so. Got to be home for the State game at 11, then rest up for the Birthday party for some friends, that night. I've been getting some decent reports of some slabs the last few days. I know that there sho has been alot fo boats in Pelahatchie bay for some reason. Course that could have something to do with it being the only place you could keep a boat still on the whole lake due to the high winds we been having. Bunch of dinks (8-10 inchers) with an occasional 12 incher, a couple weeks ago when I was there. You could eeek out a limit if you so chose to keep the smaller one's though

Looks like Saturday morning til 10 or 11 is gonna be the only time I can get on Barnett. North and Northeast winds are killer for fishing it so I'll be in the upper lake EARLY. Try and leave the house around 6, go get minners and put in at either Tommy's or Browns. they SHOULD be in the River channel and old lake beds pretty thick.
