Before and After pics from the hospital - WARNING!!!! GRAPHIC!!!!
First the before.
Feelay works about 5 miles from the hospital and was feelin' sorry for me so invited me over for lunch. Crappie Patties. MmmmmmMmmmmmmm. You gotta admire the menu over there too. Meat and Bread. None of them stinkie veggies to mess up a good plate neither. Met several of the guys he works with and kept calling him Feelay and they'd look at me funny......I assume because I called him Feelay, not because they haven't seen somebody as purty as me before. Anyway, they treated me real nice over there and I told 'em if it weren't for the fires and late night calls and having to go out and scrape folks off the highway, I'd prolly like working there. Kept looking for the Dalmation and finally asked one of 'em how come they didn't have one. He said "Don't need one, we got Carl" and rubbed him on the belly. Would have ticked me off if I was Feelay, but he got that hind leg of his going so good I think he liked it.
Fine vittles there Feelay and thanks for the invite. When I got home I told my Is that if I have a heart attack to make sure she takes me up there and to give you a call and find out what time lunch was.

It's rough duty when you're in the hospital folks. This was the cabinet just to the left of his bed. On the other side was a glass wall and door leading out to the nurses station.

And then tradgedy struck. I kept yelling "Code Blue Paper Towel, Code Blue Paper Towel" and waived my arms while my Dad fanned with a newspaper. Eventually one of the nurses spotted us through the glass wall and came to the door and opened it see what was wrong, when she took a breath, she turned back to the hall and yelled "Bring me a hazmat suit, mask, water hose and a box fan. STAT!".
