I am gonna try it tomorrow with cranks but got my spider rig poles in the boat just in case I see a sweet brush pile, tree top or something that looks fishy. wish me well

I hope you crank them out of there but have your jig poles tied and ready to go. If your going to crank, then try solid black in less than 15 ft of water and slow it down (1.2 - 1.4) especially early in the morning.:D

Wayne and I went spider-rigging yesterday morning and brought home 21 and Scott alone went pulling yesterday afternoon and said for a couple of hours almost nothing (5) and then BAM they turned on and he had about 25 by dark. I think I got this just about right, Scott's camping and away from his puter, so I think both ways are viable now.

well done nothing on the cranks and didnt do much better on the jigs, I caught stripes on the jigs when I would come across a bait ball that was holding what I thought wouldve been crappie but not a crappie in the boat today. now keep in mind I didnt have minnows on the jigs, just some crappie nibbles, minnows get hard to find around here after spring

oh well, I for sure caught more than I would have is I had slept in and not went

Those 21 we kept came on jigs and nibbles, no minnows. I guess I'm lazy but minnows are just too much work for me.

I caught some good ones today pulling cranks on the rez. I'll keep the pulling stuff in the boat but like yikess said, I'll have the minnow and jig stuff ready if needed.
