Just got back from the ER. My Dad was out at the hunting camp with his buddy and got real short of breath and had chest pains, so they came into the ER. The doc's said he had a good bit of fluid on the lungs (consequence of a weak heart, previous heart attacks and basically congestive heart failure) and his enzymes where slightly elevated indicating a possible mild heart attack. They gave him nitro, but that didn't squelch the chest pains, so they shot him with Demerol. That seemed to ease his pain and certainly increased the amount of crap he was giving the nurses. They're transfering him to Baptist South by ambulance to be looked after by his cardio guy up there. Barring any complications, I expect them to keep him a few days and then send him home, or at least that's what I hope for.
So ya'll keep him in his prayers. Need him home by the 8th for his 70th Birthday Fish Fry.
Wannabe...
