Hang in there buddy,,,,prayers from the "Hugheys"
Where you been Hughey? I was starting to worry you been cheatin' on us with some real rednecks like AR or AL.
Latest update: My Dad had the angiogram and did fine. They did find a blockage, but they decided to wait on the stints until Wednesday since they have his blood too thin right now. Weird....ya kind of think they'd have checked that before they started.....guess this way they get to bill for 2 operations instead of one. Have I mentioned that I don't like doctors? Well, I don't like doctors.

Glad to hear that Dad came through ok!!! You know they have to share the love, Wannabe. :) The more fingers that can touch him the more valuable ($$$) he becomes!!! :) More prayers! :)
hope your pops get better soon, will keep a good thought
I'm up here in Southaven now. Here's the latest:
They are going to move my Dad to icu tonight to monitor him closer. He is still having chest pains. They are going to hold off on the stints until Thursday because his kidneys are not functioning 100% and they want to be careful about the medicine that thickens his blood up. Doc says 95% blockage in a previous bypass vein and they are pretty sure he had heart attack but called it mild. He's alert and talking but he says pain is 7 out of 10.
Looks like my diagnosis and prescription was a little off. :(

Last night, I slept with 7 women at once. Truth be told, it was a lot less fun than I had dreamed all these years. 2 of 'em snored and 3 of their husbands kept giving me the eye.
They ended up transferring my Dad up to ICU last night. They said the angiogram showed blockage in 2 arteries. A previous bypass vein has 95% and they want to stint that one. Another they weren't too worried about at 40%. Trouble is, his blood is too thin to do it right then. Maybe today and maybe thursday. Yesterday, he kept having chest plans so they wanted to put him on a Nitro drip. They did and that eased his pain some. He had a decent night and managed to sleep some. This AM, he looks tired but he's in decent spirits. He's dozing off and on this AM.
So, that left me sleeping in the ICU waiting area in an industrial recliner with all them womens. BTW, industrial strength recliners apparently induce sever gastroentestinal distress. I thought I was making new friends, but when I woke up this AM, they were all huddled in the opposite corner. And a couple of 'em looked almost ready to be admitted themselves.
Ya'll need to bring your A-game today and keep me entertained. Else, I'm gonna take it out on ya when I get back home.
