Ya really ought to come back and put a good wax on that hull after you clean it. It'll keep the scum from being so stubborn the next time and will keep the fiberglass from oxidizing and getting a haze from it.

There's also a product called Bass Boat Saver that's good for quick shining and cleaning fiberglass as well.

Don i use an aluminum wheel cleaner on aluminum boats. My camper is fiberglass and they make some stuff called 'Black Streak Remover" and will take off anything. Look at Walmart in the RV section.

Vodka. Just sprinkle the hull with a little, attend a fall or spring camp and voila, DD will get it to shine like a new penny.

    Have you tried Simple Green?

PurplePower for fiberglas....can be found at most auto part stores and like torch says...aluminum wheel cleaner for aluminum boats. You have to be real careful what you use on aluminum boats because some cleaners are oxidizers and will turn aluminum black.
