Default Cleaning update and tests results.

I had 2 different cleaning solutions. Mean Green and Purple power and what I found in testing was that the Mean green works better on mold on seats and the water scum line, then the Purple power works better on the deck of the boat. Remember, I have a White Bay boat so mine is a little different than most in that I have no carpet and no clear coat anywhere on the top side of my boat so I can be a little more aggressive than most can with cleaning products. I went to the front of the boat where the TM and add a seat was and cleaned one side with each then did the front dry storage compartments the same way. Did one with each. The dry storage is also my front seats and had mildew and or mold spots on them. Well, after letting them sit and scubbing them real good, it was easy to see what cleaned better.
Here's where things got interesting though. There were still some spots on them and I had some spots on my storage doors so I took them off and hit them and the seats with BLEACH. Came out white as all get out and looks brand new. I made sure to rinse them all off real good though so no bleach would be left and screw up anything

Good report DD...I will try Mean Green on my seats as I have had trouble getting all of the mold off.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

They sell a product at the dollar stores such as "Dollar General" called Awesome. It's the strongest spray cleaner I know of. If it will cut through the black streaks on a camper, I think it would clean anything. The last time I got some, it was $1 a bottle.

That scrub free bathroom cleaner is about the best thing for taking mold off seats. I think I used Arm N Hammer oxy something last time

Default They did work for me

but I'm always willing to try something thats easier and you don;t have to do all that scrubbin. Guess I could get WB down to scrub it, he knows all those special ways to get the stains out
