The EPA has started all kinds of laws regarding lead. As of April 22 restoration contractors can not touch a house built before 1979 without lead testing, Costing home owners about $500.00 to have testing done. Plus following lead safe practices are very expensive. There is only one test kit on the market that is EPA approved. Guess who is the majority stock holder in this company.......Nancy Pelosi. Go figure
