Speaking off I-55, my father-in-law has been bugging me to take him on a fishing trip to Dacus forever now. He used to do pretty good there years ago. I'm thinking we may go Friday. I did a search and saw some of your posts from '07 where you said that it had become a dead lake as far as crappie due to the carp but then I saw a post from '08 that looked like you may have been catching them there again. Have you fished Dacus recently? Can I expect to be able to catch any crappie if we go?

I have not heard Anything out of Dacus in quite a while, which is not a good thing.

Last report i heard a bud caught 4 but the flying carp beat hin up.
