You do understand that as we get older we get fatter, trees are pretty much the same. Can't say for sure, what with the poor quality of the pic, but looks like the poles are darn near agin the trees.

It'd be best to plain the top flat before you go to screwing those 2x12's on there. It'll be more stable in the long run having more contact with the poles.
Dont walk on them poles with wet sneakers,the pitch of you voice will go up 100 octaves.
