I was a die hard ford fan and still like any ford truck made after 96. when they switched to IFS for there front axle I didnt stay with them. Im still mud bog racing my 79 ford f-150 with a very healthy and worked over 460 with a very bad addiction to vp racing fuel and drove my 92 F150. I was in the middle of building a 408W for the 92 f-150. my cousin had bought a brand new 98 dodge ram 4wd. we went down south deer hunting on a permit hunt and it was nasty down there(they were rebuilding the trails into roads and it had being a very wet fall). he had a set of the old school buckshot and that thing couldnt be stop we were drive down this trail we always hunt down. the dodge was the only truck to make in and out. I was hooked I thought they look nice and still are a true 4wd. In 01 after seeing how little trouble my cousins dodge had been I bought a used 00. I still have it to this day.Quote:
