This is the conversation we had on Thursday July 7th. I was going to leave work a little early to head down to Sardis for the FJ and because I had a cabin to stay in and needed to check in a get the key before 5pm
Here is our conversation from IPhone text:
July 7th 12:57pm
WB : Finally remembered to check the hole is 2 3/4 deep
1:27 pm
Slabo: Ok workin on them now
WB: Well hurry up I mean it's not like I'm dropping this on you at the last minute or something.
2:24pm
Slabo: I'm making the hole .750dia undersized so you can hone it out, i heard you liked that!
WB: Friction can be a good thing.
3:55pm
WB: Them look good. Now I just need to win the umbrella in the drawing
The way I see it WB you don't have a pot to PI$$ in with this project!! I made the parts to the exact specs that were avaliable to me from said customer (Wannabe). When said customer was asked on the phone what size the hole needed to be I was told it is the same as the pin hole for a seat pedestal. Which every one knows that diameter is .750 for a pin type seat post
It was not until project was complete that I learned that said customer did not have nor had he ever laid his hands on the mating componet (umbrella) for this project. With that being said this means the said customer had no freakin clue as to what size the hole needed to be. So I was provided with what the said customer thought he had heard was the size hole that the mating componet would fit into. So to conculed this investigation the parts from the project were made to the EXACT specs that were provided to me from said customer.
THE REFUND ! Pffffffffffttttt!! YOU HAVE TO PAY BEFORE YOU GET A DAMN REFUND !!
Have you ever held an office under the Democratic party? Kind of sounds like it!!
Now I know why Satdoc cut you off from his jigs!!!
Maybe if you soak the umbrella in cold water it will shrink!!!
