    Fairly common practice in late 60s and early 70s. They would put a hose on a funnel and load a bass up #8 bird shot, kick a 5lber up to 8 lbs real quick.

    7 13-14 inch fish that weighed 3 pounds kinda raised my eyebrows...ain't that right Sat..lol
