    Default Oops!

Gotta a question and hope its not the answer I am avoiding...

Woke up this morning to find that my daughter didn't completely close our upright freezer in our garage last night on an ice cream run. Tons of fish, deer, ducks, etc are still cold but had begun to thaw. Do I have to throw it all out? Thanks!

If they are cold and still partially frozen...I woudn't worry about it. If they are completely thawed out then I would be concerned.

Get the freezer closed and they will be OK if they havent begun to warm.

You're probably OK, but if you're uncomfortable with refreezing.......IT"S PARTY TIME in the the neighborhood. Have everyone that lives close to show up and bring their own grill and get to cooking. Don't forget to invite all your internet buddies.....ole buddy.
