Default Learnt me a lesson Saturday

Took a crowd up to House Boat Island from Tommys Saturday to layout and drink form the green cup. Took me 3 trips to get everyone up there but decided to make just one on the way back. Here are the figures
2 adult males over 260 pounds
    1 adult male at 205
    1 adult male at 170
    2 females at 165
    1 adult female at 135
    1 adult female at 120
    2 kids at 65 each
    total human content
    1610 pounds
then add in 5 coolers at 40 pounds each
200 more pounds, then other things added up to another 75 pounds
total weight was pushing 1900 pounds
20 gallons of gas WILL NOT take you 6 miles. LOL
Darn thing wouldn't go but 6 MPH at full throttle even with a 125 pushing it and you could watch the gas gauge go down.

you had 10 life jackets on board? You're lucky you didn't get a blue ticket, from a green man to go with the green cup that would have left you with a red face!!!

    Default I go prepaired

Only pays to nowadays. It is sad about that little kid that drowned. The news kept talking about Flag Island and FAMILY PICNIC. I was YEH RIGHT, whatever. No 3 year old has any business at Flag Island NONE. Ended up being at Ratliff Ferry itself, that's different and I can understand having a 3 year old there

I would think so as well. You also have to go by the total weight limit on the boat sticker, persons, motor, and gear, etc.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
