    Exclamation I've been gone because


    the last time I was here I got a little hushpuppy recipe from DD.... well I made these according to the recipe and durn near died .......... I'm still not sure I've gotten over it, though.















    IT = the THRILL of the taste of them. OMG! They were fabulous!!! I made them sweeter than the recipe but other than that I kept it the same. Everyone that I shared with LOVED them!!!!! Unless someone gives me a better recipe, this is going to be my GO TO for hushpuppies!!! Thanks, DD!

    Do not comment about the uniformity in size... The purty ones were in my tummy already before I thought about taking a pic. :o

    The way I tell if I got them right before I fry them is to eat abit of the RAW batter. If it's good there, it'll be fine when cooked.
