the last time I was here I got a little hushpuppy recipe from DD.... well I made these according to the recipe and durn near died

.......... I'm still not sure I've gotten over it, though.

IT = the THRILL of the taste of them. OMG! They were fabulous!!! I made them sweeter than the recipe but other than that I kept it the same. Everyone that I shared with LOVED them!!!!! Unless someone gives me a better recipe, this is going to be my GO TO for hushpuppies!!!

Do not comment about the uniformity in size... The purty ones were in my tummy already before I thought about taking a pic. :o

The way I tell if I got them right before I fry them is to eat abit of the RAW batter. If it's good there, it'll be fine when cooked.
