Default My garden--and homemade icecream update.....

Here's my garden. It's the first time I have ever tried to do a garden by myself. My pawpaw finally had to stop because of his health, so I am gonna try to grow a few. This is more or less a test year for me. I planted 36 better boy tomatoes, 3 hills of squash, 3 hills of cucumber and some various peppers--cayenne, bell, jalapeno and hot banana.
Next year I hope to plant more as I continue to get the hang of this gardening.
I appreciate all those that responded about the homemade ice cream thread. We fried some crappie and bass for pawpaw and mawmaw last night and made some plain homemade vanilla ice cream. Man, was it GOOD!
G-3, I saw the butterfinger ice cream recipe you put on here and we are gonna try it next.
    Later everybody...........

P.S. If anyone has any gardening tips or tricks, I am all ears! Pawpaw has told me alot, but it never hurts to get other opinions too.

G-3, you can stop and get some tomatoes anytime......as long as you show me where the big bream are hiding at Lake Lamar Bruce!
Man, I can't figure that lake out. I'm always a week or two early or a week or two late on the bream. About all I can catch out there is a few scrawny lookin' bass.

I have not fished Lamar Bruce this year but for the last several years we were catching nice red ears all year long......did real good late fall and early spring. PM me a phone number and I will give you a shout sometime and we will go try them out. Can you go during the week? I can't go this week but maybe next week. I live a few miles south of Sherman so Trace lake is where I fish a lot ....it is just 4 miles through the hills from my house.
