    Default Homemade ice cream question.....

Someone give me the ingredients to make homemade ice cream. I have a 4 quart maker so I must have the right amount of ingredients to make 4 quarts. It's been awhile since I made some and just need a refresher on the stuff to make it.
    Thanks

    Default love it

I sure do love that stuff. Have not had any since 95 when momma died. She would cut up fresh fruit and put in there. Boy I miss that woman.

There are several different recipes, but if they give you the stuff, just put it all in the container, and fill it to the fill line with milk, the line should be down in the container a couple inches or so to allow room to expand.

Put it in there, put the motor on top of it and get it locked down and then add a couple inch of ice, a layer of rock salt, another layer of ice, and then the rock salt, do this till it's full and sprinkle more rock salt on top. When it melts down, add salt thing ice, then salt.

You will see the outside of the bucket freezing as the icecreams starts to freeze from the bottom up.

Let me know if you have any problems.

Ain't nothing like the sound of the machine as it starts to slow down, man I want icecream now. :D
