    Default Proud dad yesterday

My oldest won the 14-15 yr old NEMS Coca Cola Jr golf tourney yesterday at the Starkville Country Club. He shot a 78. My youngest didn't fare so well, but it's his first year to compete in tourneys. May be a start to a good career. Who knows.

Congrats Minner. Is that your retirement plan? Make the son a pro golfer and be his caddy?

It had crossed my mind but they's too much walkin involved fer me. Ifn they ever outlaw golf carts I'll give my clubs to somebody.

Good deal! Even if he doesn't become a pro, there are lots of scholarships available for collegiate golf. He is off to a good start, I have never been able to break 80.

I've broke 80 a couple of times. He's got to where he does it regular therefore I don't play with him much anymore. Lol. Nah we still play together quite a bit. He enjoys beatin me. I told him the other day to look at his oponent he was playin with like it was me and try to beat his brains out. He told his momma that this is what he did yesterday an she really didn't understand the harshness of it. Oh well she'll get over it.
