Boat hull repairs

and they drive rebars in the tops of stumps so you can see were the stumps are at when the water gets up. Some folks just drive the darn rebar to deep into the stump and the rebar is below the water line. Musta been a darn Yankee that did that, just ain't got better sense

I understand marking a spot, but rebar? That's just plain ultra extra ignernt with a capital ignernt. Ain't they never heard of cane down that way?
