T-man, you might want to check out my new holders when EZ is through with them before you go spending your money. Just saying.

Your right there Munta. The holder part on the hiteks is very low profile and I like that a lot better than the others I have had. It makes it a little easier for me to see when driving the boat.

But if you haven't even seen what EZ has to offer, how can you compare?

I have owned and used three other major brands before I got the Hiteks.
I have seen EZ's and they are nice well built rod holders...no doubt about it. I just like the way the hiteks are made.....the holder itself is very low profile, I like that. No plastic or composite knobs to get old and brittle and then break, I like that. They hold their adjustment good you do not have to keep fooling with them and re-tightening them. .....and since I have been using them....Well I love them. Its sort of like Fords and Chevies....some like one....some like the other.
