their small and we see they can fit into tight places:)
Considering I'm kin, I do have very long, slender arms (not quite long enough for walking on all fours, though - maybe I should practice?) and long, slender fingers suited for going into deep, dark, greasy, tight places. I can put a starter on a log skidder lickety split and unfortunately my hands do fit to reach the farthest greasiest bolts.
And I'm very good with a caulk gun IF I can see where I'm working. :)
and ole Bigfoot gets on all 4's at times and is as hairy as our mutual friend, least his back is anyways:rolleyes:
If I May Make A Suggestion While You Have The Back Opened Up I Would Look Into Installing A Second Bilge(this One A Automatic One) Can Get Them At Wally World,,they Are Cheap And I Have Had In The Past Seen A Time That It Save Me From A Issue When I Had Parked The Boat In A Marina And A Storm Came Through,,2 Other Boats Sank Right There In The Boat Slips Due To Haveing Only A Manual Bilge,(OWNER NOT AROUND)also It Will Aelrt You To A Small Issue As Forgeting To Put The Plug In Very Fast,,,,(this Saves On The Key Stone Cop Routine At The Ramp!),,,jmo
Good thinking Fuzzy. The boat actually has one already, but it's not kicking on. Not sure if the float is stuck, the pump is bad or there's a wire that's bad or possible a fuse. While I'm in there, I'll get her straightened up and acting right.

OK, ya goof, get the VOM out and start trouble shooting. I would look at a caged or a capacitance type of automatic switch. If you have trash in the bilge, and I'm betting you do, then its going to jam the switch.
man ya'll are getting way to teknikal for me.
What ticks me off is that every pump on this joker is a POS Rule. To change 'em all out to something decent would be like 4 Benjamins. Joker is just chuck full of pumps. 2 aerators, 2 recircs, 2 bilge, and a pump out. And those are just the ones I know about. :)
