I assume you are using nylon electrical nuts, over time they will corrode. You can buy butt terminals now that are 100 % waterproof. That is all I will use on a boat.
Wonder how they caught all those wangs to castrate them?
I thought he was talking about replacing the wing nuts on the battery terminals with nylon lock nuts. If he was....to me that could be a bad idea.....you might have a need to get those cables off quick sometime.
They have been refered to as BRASS
I prefer to use solder and heat shrink......you can get water proof heat shrink now.
OK Maj get the credit card ready cause it looks like it is gonna get there again!
i haven't had the chance to meet this pillar of the community, banker, little home maker and general all around boat rigger superb yert,,, but i can honestly say from all the post that i have read and having talked to speckhunter iam not sure there is any thing to say,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, at this time
Maj any NAPA keeps them. You splice the wire then use a torch to heat it and the solder melts then the shrink tubing and it is 100% water proof.
