New work out routine
Went to a seminar over the week end on correct physical exercise for jerkin crappie.
This definately builds muscle strength in arm and shoulders which lets you fish much longer without fatigue. Stand on a comfortable surface with room on either side. With a 5 lbs tater sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out, hold as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute then relax. Do three sets of five. Each day it becomes easier and you can hold this position longer. Increase your sets to three sets of 10 reps.
After a cuple weeks, increase the tater sack to a 10 pounder and repeat the beginning process. Then eventully (usually 3-5 weeks) a 50 lb tater sack in each hand. Again, repeat this same beginning process.
When you feel really comfortable and can do this without much strain, put a tater in each sack -- but BE CAREFUL.
For those of you who want to pull a "Tom Jones" in yur new speedo on the beach this summer, just remember -- the tater goes in the FRONT.
