Default To borrow a phrase from Crappie mama, "I know how to..."

I know how to make adjustments. Let me properly set this up. Back when I had "ole girl", she and my vehicle fit in the garage without a problem. However, when I traded for "big girl", things changed. Had to caddie corner the boat into the garage and then angle the MSUV (mid sized SUV) in for a very tight fit.

Since I couldn't go fishing today, (still waiting on the Ram and Canon mounts, and the boat is all opened up), so I thought why not modify my house to fit my boat.

If I position the boat straight back instead of caddie corner, I need about 4" more garage.

So I thought, well I've already damaged the dry wall, so let's see what's behind it.

OK, that wasn't so painful, let's see just how much modifying I have to do. I need just about one more inch.

Make motor indent larger, and add prop thingie hole.

Now I can check the oil from the kitchen.

And to borrow a tune from WB's favorite, Barry Manilow, "Looks like we made it".

Now, I just hope that the Docs can be as precise with their cutting & drilling on me tomorrow as I was on my house today.

I lived in South LA for a few years, Houma, Morgan City, flying offshore for PHi. Learned how to eat properly seasoned food out in the Gulf. Some of the coonass must have rubbed off on me.:D

River, the boat I had before this one, I had a welder cut off and weld and extension just like plugging your hitch into the receiver. Cost $200.00.

This worked very well, just pull two pins and slide tongue out. There are also some swing away kits out there but I haven't checked them out.
