Can't stand a THEIF, I was robbed

I'm sorry that happened DonDon . I had my outboad and some other items stolen almost 2 years ago. Not a day goes by that I'm not looking for it. About 10 years ago, I had a boat stolen and met it coming down the road in the back of a pickup truck a year later. I turned around and finally tracked them down at a grocery store and called the police. When they came outside, I walked up to them and asked if they'd mind waiting just a couple of minutes. They asked why and I told them that was my boat in the back of their truck and the police were on their way. Don't give up hope on finding your stuff and I'm with you. I hate a thief.

What I'd be worried about if they got it from your house, is whether or not they took notes on what's available to them the next time they wanted to go shopping. :(

but I was trying to save time for yesterday afternoons fishing by loading the boat up the night before. just makes me sick to the stomach

When I was in the sporting goods business we would have guys all the time come in telling about how they loaded all their gear in the boat on Friday night so they could get a early start on Saturday and wake up on Saturday to find out someone had stolen all their gear out of their boat under the carport while they were sleeping.

There is all kinds of lowlife in this world thats why God made Smith&Wesson!!

Sorry to hear it, DD! Hope you get lucky and find out who did it so they can be dealt with properly!

You thought about putting one of those infrared webcams and recording to hard drive space? Dude if it was that easy they will not be able to stand it they will come back for more. That little set up is cheap and will put their butts in jail. I would bet you know them.

If only two rods were taken, I would suspect that it wasn't an adult that did the stealing. I would think kids. I don't know the kids in your area, but if you do, you might want to put the word out that all you want are the rods returned and nothing more will be made of it. Quite often that is enough.

Sometimes it isn't.
