Big Bad Ross Barnett, I hope some of you Jackson boys will fish it. Fun , family atmosphere and you just might learn a thing or two.

I vote for the Cock of the Walk, or Tommy's. I guess its which end of the lake you plan on fishing.

I would kind of like to have a head count also on how many.

I'd vote for Tommy's. Everything you need right there and it splits the lake in 1/2 in case somebody wants to fish in a small boat and doesn't want to try and run the lake if the wind gets up. Plus, it's not that far from the Welfare hole which is where DD is gonna send everybody to anyhow. 2nd choice would be the ramp at Pelahatchie, again due to winds. My last choice would be Cock of the Walk.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
Big ramps at both places, lots of room. I wouldn't do Tommys. There's ALWAYS a bass tourney up there and some might get lost coming through the S curve. Not pretty when someone gets out of the not so clear channel markers at 40 MPH and goes into the stump fields on either side all the way though it. Just for safety, I'd say one of the 2 I mentioned. My thoughts anyways. Guess it's time to see who all will come down here since I've driven to 75% of the one's up North. I missed 2 tourneys last year was all and none this year. Least some of you that live in the North 1/2 of the state can deal with what I deal with every time once

they put squared off speed bumps about every 100 feet through there and it beats you to death at less than 1 MPH. You have to almost totally stop now to get to the ramp. MOST people will fish from oil well down south and if you want to let them run through the S curve, go ahead. I'm driving back down to Cock of the walk. I got my spot to fish already and it ain't the welfare hole. Now shuddup WB, you've only green carp fished it

I will fish it. Tommy's is a waste of time. Too little parking and total confusion as 2 or 3 bass tourney's will be out of there on the same day you can bet on that. The Rankin Ramp by the old Rapid on the Rez is the one to use. No one will be there. Store right there, etc. Or Cock of the walk. If anyone is staying in a hotel it won't be ANYWHERE near Tommy's it will be back closer to the Spillway end of the lake.
I've got a guest room if anyone needs to use it. Gotta like dogs as mine will be all over you, friendly dog of course.
yea DD I guess guys were hauling butt down the road to the Pel ramp and they had to place in speed bumps every 10 feet...What in the heck were they thinking. PLuse the boat ramp there will eat your boat.
DD, I told WB the welfare hole is for people like him a one fish wonder. HAHA Need to send up river to the RR tressle at the campground. You know I hear they were tearing stick baits up in that area.
