One More Chance

Hahahaha!

Sat, Jennifer mailed the money yesterday. She said she had to scratch out our old address on the check and put a new one in.

AND! We were at the state park on saturday, but we didn't see nobody and nobody we talked to were with the camp. Of course it was right around 8:00 so ya'll may have dispersed by then. I think next time I'm going to give you guys a big banner to hang up....The funny thing is that we did actually try to find Cabin 5 and couldn't. I may have lost my truck-driving-directional skills over time, and I blame law school. I do think it would have been easier with some daylight.

AND! When you use a phone as seldom as I do, it ain't really something that you think about. I talked to speck, and I was a little surprised that I didn't think to call him. I knew he was there...I'm slow. What else can I say!

POO POO with all of us. We were expecting to meet you and you bailed on us max. That ain't right bud. We were all looking forward to meeting you guys but you pulled a Wannabe on us :(

I was there. In spirit and in mind. And I'm voting to host the next Enid crappie camp at my house. That way I'll be sure to be there!

We would have love meeting everybody, and we hope next time maybe we can afford to shut the store down and just spend the whole day fishing and getting to know folks. It's a dream but I hear they can carry you a long way.

Ain't got no excuse dondon. We came out there, saw a bunch of people everywhere, asked two fellows if they knew where the crappie camp was, and they looked at us like we were crazy. We drove around looking for a big group of folks but never saw one. The worst thing is that we couldn't find Satdoc's cabin. I'm blaming that one on it being late, we were all dog tired, and just not that bright. Now, the reason for not calling is the one I got nothing for. I'm guessing most folks would have just called somebody and got directions. Since I rarely use a phone, it never crossed my mind. Hindsight says that it would have been smart, but that didn't help me saturday night.

Yes sir. We plan on it. Even better than that, I finish school on the 3rd of May, and it is my intention to spend a great deal of time on the water. So, I'm hoping we'll run into a bunch of you guys before the next camp. I ain't saying we'll be signing into no championship games with you pros, but we do love us some fishing. Going to try to get out to the other lakes around here too. It's been a long time since I've been to grenada, and I need to fish Sardis. Got me a genuine old timey guide up there. The father-in-law knows that forwards and backwards so I'm going to get schooled proper.
