I heard that Marvin Deckard from MO won it. There's a post about it over on the Missouri board.

    Here's what it said:

Truman locals win big at 1 pole event

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Marvin Deckard a guide out of Bucksaw marina wins the Crappie Masters one pole challange in Arkansas. Third place was Marty Snider and Jackie Albin who are Truman regulars that many of us have fished against in local tournaments. Charlie and Travis Bunting also had another top ten finish to add to their already good year. Congrats to our local boys and CDC members who did well.

There's two versions from what I heard, the short one and the long one.

    Short one - It sucked.

Long one - It really sucked.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Marvin teamed up with a local from just outside of Conway and they did win the tourny with 23+ lbs. Kent Driscoll and John Harrison finshed second with 19+ lbs. Wind was blowing like crazy Saturday. My hat's off to those that braved the wind and fish there Saturday.

Bigger gave an honest effort and I salute him for that. Conditions were absolutely terrible on Saturday with 35 mph wind gust on an open lake. Some of the worst conditions I have ever seen but you can't control mother nature!
