I put about 4 inches of masking tape about 10 inches down from the tip of my rods. Then I spray a coat of auto primer let dry, then follow by a coat of fluorescent orange "hunter orange." I do this on all of my crappie and catfish rods. I think it helps me when I'm reaching in the cooler, to see strikes out of the corner of my eye. Do this and you will earn a few man points back even though you'll always know its pink underneath.
Fuschia is metrosexual for poke berry. Nothin girly or man card revoking about poke berries, every country boy knows that. Geesh, you MS boys are slippin...;)
