Ive been kind of scared of a G3 unless they have improved in the last couple of years.

Yeah, I thought you were the first one to post about the 176. No complaints on the layout here. You know my criticisms of my boat. Then again, you can't argue with the price.
Torch, I've been pretty hard on my boat since I've had it and not one boat issue has come up yet. There are design flaws and things I would have done different, but so far, so good.

I have had my G3 Eagle 185 now for four years....no problems that I know of.
Yeah, but you don't fish but 3 days a year G-3 and 1 of those is from the bank, so we can't take your word for it. :)

You don't know what your talking about WB...so just Shad up! :D dadgummit. I do wish it was at least a foot wider and had the fuel tank mid ship like the newer ones.
Have you looked at the Lowe ST175 Multi-Species? Similar layout to the G3 and same price range.
