And The D.a. Bows To Our Enemy. D.a. Does Not Stand For District Attorney.
:D WILL FISH FOR FOOD OR MONEY
Just got one of those email forward thingies. It proposes a new ammendment to the constitution:
Amendment 28
Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States .
I like it. A lot.

yea i have seen that several times now but you can bet them gewbers (yes G3 I said but I am mad right now) will NEVER let that slip by
I'm reading Billy Graham's Book "Peace with God" and ole Billy is pretty dang smart. This book is old...I don't even know how old but I'm betting 20+ years at least. If you ain't read it, do it. But anyway, Billy says that "we" have tried to find happiness in progress and other things and have failed because we haven't accepted that true peace comes only from God.
I'm no Billy Graham, but I'm pretty sure that's what the President of the US is trying to do. He is trying to make people happy, and by doing so he snatches another little piece of freedom from his citizens. The more steps that the nation as a whole takes away from God the easier it is for ya'lls president and his government to snatch little pieces of freedom. I suspect this may be just another part of something much larger.
I'm guessing that if lesbians can use the courts of this country to try to "force" a school to have a prom and let her take her girlfriend, if poor little kids shouldn't be "forced" to endure prayer in schools, and if we can't display the Ten Commandments in government property, then we should probably all know the direction the United States is headed. You guys can have it.
During the formulation of my social compact, I didn't sign on to it. The rules are somewhat different at 130 CR 297 in yalobusha country and different they shall stay.
Excellent idea Max. What O needs is some book learning. That Billy Graham book any size? Hard cover? If so, it might work. We'll march him out to the woodshed and beat him with it until either he gets it, or we tear the book up.
I'll bring my old encyclopedias just in case. He seems kind of hard headed.

"We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others, the same word may mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men's labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name---liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatible names---liberty and tyranny."
~ Abraham Lincoln, 1864

Well, as long as we're throwing quotes around, I'll use one near and dear to my heart that I heard in the 3rd grade and have always cherished:
"Bite me!"
Suzy Elmore in the 3rd grade when told by Mrs. Hatcher that she in fact did have to do her homework like everybody else. 1974.
I think that fully forms and embodies completely my sentiment towards the current admistration while they are telling me that no, in fact people don't have to do their homework and may in fact rely on people like me to do it for them.
And, I hope he and the Dems get there behinds whipped just as hard to prove them wrong as Suzy did.

For those who may have not understood my quote.....
According to Abraham Lincoln:
Liberty = "each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor"
Tyranny = "some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men's labor"
Current situation = Tyranny
