Default Tell ya, I've never fished on water like that before

I see what you guys have been warning me about on Grenada Lake. That's one dangerous lake with a west wind. I'm just glad we all made it though unscathed for the most part. I ran into some real skinny water and think I screwed up my Water pump ion the boat. I hooked up my hose to it yesterday and when I cranked it, STILL no water coming outta the pee hole. I did spend about 30 minutes with some deck cleaner and scrubbed the entire boat yesterday and then took it to the Car wash for the pressure hose. I took the cowling off and then unhooked the hose that goes to the impellor and sprayed it in there for over a minute. I was so soaked when I got home that I didn't recheck it to see if I cleaned it out though. We did yard work all day yesterday in between watching Ms State fold again in the last minute against KY. I'll check it again Tuesday and see if that cleaned out the line. If it didn't it's off to the shop for the boat

    Default I did Bigger

I opened it up, took off the hose and sprayed the high pressure hose down into the plastic fitting for about a minute or so. Just didn't get a chance to check and see if that did the trick or not. Oh I know Sat but I guess it's one of those you have to see it to believe it on how bad that lake really can get

Don, I have a guy that makes house calls on marine motors. If you want his number, give me a call. Also can make an appointment so you don't have to leave your boat at the shop for who knows how long.

DonDon I think Bigger meant to take the small hose that connects the head to the outside port on the cowling and clean it out.

Did you find that short in the electrical that had you stuck on the ramp Saturday morning?

I really hate I missed all the fun on the water but I have done that before and besides I was in a nice warm and dry cabin up near Youngs landing. First time I have ever been to Grenada and stayed for three day and never put my boat in the water !!!

Default The hose that gooes to the outside was clean

I'll track down some wire at the house Tuesday IF that high pressure hose didn't already clean it out. Yikes, Yeh, I figgered it out, Just a loose wire on the positive post is all
