my father, who i have fished with for years, loved to tell this joke...

three fishermen were sitting in a bar, telling all kinds of stories. the first one said, in my hometown we have a river that has so much fish, you catch a fish every single time you drop a hook.

the second one says, that ain't nothing, we have a river that has so much fish that every time you dip a bucket in the water, it comes out with 2-3 fish in it.

the third, not to be outdone, thought for a minute, and then said, I have both of you beat....in my town, we had a river that didn't have any water in it, just fish!
