What's the difference between a PD/v2 and a terrova? Besides the foot pedal?

    Thanks

    Also, AP or no?

Different pound thrusts, PD in 24v is 70#, Terrova is 80#. You can use the pedal with i-pilot on the Terrova, can't on the PD. And of course the pedal configuration you mentioned. Probably a couple other things, but those are the primary differences from my research.

Ap or no? I can't imagine why anyone would pay for seperate co-pilot and autopilot, when you can have both with i-pilot and so much more.

I believe the pd has a slower turning response and not as fluid.

PD V2 also has the 3.5" motor and the Terrova has a 4". Overall the Terrova is a more substantial unit when you compare them side by side.

I could have bought either but just bought the PD V2 w/ US2 in 70 pounds, 24V....HOLY SMOKES. This thing is awesome. Another gifference I think is in the way to deply/store the unit. I looked hard at them and there was no reason to spend 50% more than I had already spend on the PD to go to a Terrova. I ran this motor yesterday and it is AWESOME. I got the co-pilot for free from Minn-kota and will use that and then go to I pilot next. No need for AP anymore. Co pilot then I pilot.

You're paying twice for the same thing if you buy the co-pilot. Co-pilot and autopilot are built in to the i-pilot.
