    Default Decision time

I've had to make a very painful decision tonight. That desicion is, that I won't go fishing tomorrow. Yea, I work most all the dang time, and the weather looks good for tomorrow, but responsibility must prevail. I have work to do. Those of you who are able to go tomorrow, bless you.

I feel ya bud. I'm right there with ya. My legitimate responsibilities (job) sometimes overtakes my need to fish. Who said fishing is not a responsibility? Somebody's got to control the crappie from taking over the world. I'm just trying to do my part for our survival.

Maj, that stinks, I was looking forward to more pics. Maybe pretty soon you will have purchased 2 of everything you need and then you will be able to get your priorities straight and go fishing. Hey, check it out, I didn't misspell priorities. And who says concrete guys ain't smart?

Wish, laid much concrete, poured and gunite applied. Worked all aspects of construction. Worked my way from the "load the hopper" end to the "nozzle" end. I'm very proud of all the construction jobs that I have worked. I wish every male child had the opportunith work construction.

Very cool Maj, about the construction part. Watched my dad do it growing up and said I would never pour concrete. Well he started his own business my senior year and guess what? I had to help him. Well 7 plus years later and he is still in business and I'm still helping. We have slowed down what with the economy and all but I am hoping things will pick up with the warmer weather. I went to college for a few years but couldn't decide on a major, and I would skip class if I knew they were short handed (don't tell my mom). After doin what I have done for so long, I can't see myself working anything else.

After several years of being bent over pulling on a straight edge I decided to change careers. Got a buddy in Mississippi still pouring it.

I did 2 years pouring concrete, and my knees and back are still hurting from it. The hardest job, day in and day out, that I've ever worked.

Mr. Jim, mix up your fishing a little. Go off shore once in a while, it's different, even hard work, but makes you appreciate perch jerking a little more.
