    Default ATV Disc

Any of you fellows ever try using a disc behind an ATV? Do they work well? Also, any of you know where I can get one? I've seen them online, but I don't care much for paying shipping charges on something that big and heavy.

I've never used one Max, but have a couple buddies who have. They say they are good if the soil is relatively loose, but not much good on hardpan.

I was worried about that. Hmmmm. Don't know if I want to spend 600 bucks on something that might not cut...but then again, it might if I throw enough weight on it. Thanks Feelay.

The basspro in Pearl has them. I got a couple of buds that love them. Alot cheaper than a tractor.

What you need a disk for? You got a wife, get a chisel plow and a harness and put her to good use.

Give Tractor Supply in Batesville a shot. Think I've seen 'em there before. Feelay's right on the hardpan. Even on loose soil, most add extra weight to try and get it to dig down. Most are so light they try to ride over rather than through.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I have friend that builds them. We designed the unit for Summit Treestands and they sold them for a while but they did not want to handle such a big unit. He now builds thwm in his shop as neither one of us works for Summit anymore. I will tell you this disc will cut. If you need some contact information let me know. Where are you located? He is located in north Alabama (Falkville area)

I'll drive over there this evening and see what those boys have. Hahaha! I'm the packmule around my house. I can see her laughing while she was putting the harness on me!

I suspect I could weld me a couple of plow onto the front of the disc....don't know how the tongue is made but I might be able to bow that to give it a little down-pull.

I'll going to be cutting up a little bit bigger area than I can to use the tiller on, but it ain't big enough to warrant a tractor.

I live between Batesville and Water Valley...right on Enid. I love my Summit Viper Classic! Shot many a deer out of that rascal. Do you know what he gets for them? Ballpark is good enough.

I have a MF TO30 and a 4row disk that works great in small areas.

I'd like to get my hands on my dads Farmall, but he'll be dead before he gives it up...and he might not then. My place ain't really big enough for a tractor and I don't know if I'd have enough room to use it in my "garden", but if my adverse possession works out, then I'll have a bigger spot to work.
