Last night, I ate Crappie. Non Fried Crappie.

Pan seared in oil and butter with a sauce consisting of onions, celery, cream and sun dried tomatoes. When is wasn't looking, a chunked in a pinch of corn meal just to be contrary.

It was good. However, it was not fried. I was gonna put some guns on the table and take pics, but I was hungry.

I done got addicted to Crappie cakes. ALMOST better than crab cakes in my opinion. Add in a cream basil sauce and YUMMMMM

Honestly, I prolly would have thought better of it, but the side was Brussel Sprouts. Again, seared in oil and butter with Bacon too. I think she thought she was tricking me with the Bacon. Kind of like a bribe, hoping I wouldn't notice there were no fries on my plate. She doesn't know who she's dealing with cause I noticed right off there weren't any fries.......after I finished the bacon that is.
