Man...... I bet he had some bad breath, the kind that would make your eyes tear up. I'd hate to be around him when he passed gas....
Them bass taste fair, if you cook them in the same oil ''after'' you cook your crappie. That is what I feed my mother in law, she thinks it's crappie...
crappie cowboy
I personally like fish in general (by the way I do not consider gar a real fish), but I guess my fav is good ole bream
REAL CLOSE to. It's hard to beat getting on a big ole Bream bed with all of them close to a pound on a flyrod as well. Talk about some fun
I'm loving this crappie fishing but I've got to agree with DD & Tman that bream are the best tasting and that flyfishing is THE most fun.:D
I think spots out of moving water come real close to brim in goodness, when I was younger and could muscle a jon boat out of the back of a truck a friend and I would fish the upper Pearl for bass and those spots sure did taste good.
where I can get on some Big ole Bull Blues with that Flyrod. Had a falling out with a guy that's a major jerk but he had an awesome Pond I used to fish in for Bream. Everyone you'd catch was over a pound and man, you talk about fun. Sitting there in the boat and pulling in 30-40 Bull Blues in within an hour on that flyrod.
Hey Jeff. This old bird used to fish for bass before free spool reels. Used a cane pole and about 5 ft. of the heaviest line we could get. They were pretty good eatin". One day several days later, I happened to get a crappie on a spinnerbait whilest bass fishing. Cooked him with the bass fillets and was impressed. Ain't bass fished since. Ain't missed it a bit.
No bass fer me!! I told Wd yesterday......."I got a problem, If I aint crappie fishin, Im thinkin bout it."
By the way is it OK to Quote yourself???
