I posted yesterday's results under MAJ's thread but Saturday was Pretty neat over at Eagle. Tell ya, those Eagle Lake Crappie a FAT as all get out. Darn 13 1/2 inch fish weighed 1.73. Ain't never see that before. We got a late start thanks to me having to MAKE SURE it was safe for me to be away from the pot for more than 15 minutes. LOL Got over there about 7:30 and was fishing around 8. Nessa will have some pics shortly but let me tell you, it's beautiful over there, add in the leaves starting to turn and it's god's country for sure. Ended up with 10 good fish, 3 or 4 got to the boat and got off and a few TB's plus 1, 4 or 5 pound Blue Cat. You think those White bass are a problem up at the COE lakes, you outta try those Yellow one's at Eagle. Good Googlymoogly there are everywhere. Bet we caught 25-30 of them. I will be back gain this winter a few times for sure when they turn on bigtime. Talked to several people fishing over there and between my fishing and finding them and talking to either other fishermen and land owners, I have a decent idea of where to go when they get on the winter pattern.
This whole Fall Pattern is a tough nut to crack cause each lake if different. I caught fish in 7 FOW fishing 3 foot deep and then caught fish in 25 FOW fishing 12-14 foot deep. No Rhyme or reason for anything. COME ON WINTER TIME, least they won't be scattered to all ends of the lake and no certain depth
