Shoot, I done about decided, if it ain't broke - don't work on it.
I changed water pump impeller and lower unit oil ONCE in the 8 years
I had my old Honda. Oh, changed spark plugs about 6 years into it too.
They looked as good as the new ones, and it ran fine before and after.
I do pull the prop and look for line pretty often tho, couple times a year.
If it makes ya feel better mo power to ya, but I just can't do it :o
