"When in the course of human events..."

...this thread embodies what USA is about.....Crappie66 makes some good points..and has a right to voice his opinion........others have a right to disagree and state their points........BUT when you start calling names and question someones mental aptitude just because you disagree then YOU have brought questions upon your own ability to be taken seriously.........I was raised to be courteous to others point of view......can't say something nice about someone: don't say anything.... :D ...most on here claim to be christians....don't think God would approve of your recent behavior.....

..don't get me wrong we all have a right to our opinions, just because someone is in charge doesn't always make them right....a true leader knows when they have made a mistake and takes respondsibilty for their actions.....IMHO thats what is wrong with the USA now, no one takes responsibility for the result of their actions.....people sueing ::::for burning themselves with coffee, other things that we all consider common sense!!!!

I think we would all be better served if we spent more time trying to find a answer to our problems......rather than constantly trying to pin the blame on others......YES, this takes debate and probing into root cause of problems....but doesn't have to include degradation of others....it does however require being MAN/WOMAN enough to admit ones mistakes, correct those errors and move on............When as a people are we going to learn from our past mistakes........violence solves nothing.......PEACE is the only way..... :cool: .....I think EVERYONE needs to chill and quit taking everything so personally.........most of us don't know each other except what we post....In my opinion not enough info to judge someone by.......You can't LABEL people into groups and say everyone thinks the same in that group.....everybody is an individual with their own dreams, hopes, desires and flaws.....the only thing that we are sure about is that we all LOVE CRAPPIE....lets try to remember that and act civil to each other......just so that y'all know I served in military, WM 51 and yes I tend to lean towards liberal side and vote by a man/womans job performance.....not their rhetoric, religion, sexual preference, race, wife/husband, or what some bought and paid for spin doctors are force-feeding me........remember LISTEN to both sides before you decide..........PEACE OUT :cool:

I agree - I think - as long as it applies across the board to everybody.
It looks like both camps here are guilty to me.

I was not referring to anybody on this site as an idiot, stupid, or a moron. I save all those remarks for Bush. As you can tell, I do not like him, and will never like him. I don't classify myself as a Demorcrat either, so it doesn't have anything to do with which party he is in. As I stated before I look at the issues, stances, and facts before I follow someone.

Clinton was the man, sure Clinton lied, but nobody died, the economy was stronger than ever, and to be honest I don't know if it will ever recover, at least not anytime soon, or at least not before January 20, 2009.

If anybody took offense to my comments I am sorry, I have nothing against anybody in here, my problems are with Bush. And if you were one of those who voted for him, its okay we all make mistakes.

These men and women are fighting for all of us....for you.
If your problems are with President Bush, then why not write him a letter about your opinions and concerns, instead of posting them here.

Like it was said before, first response for disasters is local, state, then federal.
I haven't heard any comments on why the mayor of New Orleans didn't use all them school buses to get them folks out. That whole bus lot was full of buses that could have been used to get some people out before the storm hit. You want to be quick to blame Bush because you don't like him as a president? Well, you gotta look beyond your dislike for him to see what goes on in La. and New Orleans. It is a crooked state and a crooked town. Everyone is on the take. Now they got billions and billions of dollars headed there way in disaster relief. There is going to be some politicians and "legitimate business" people lining their pockets with millions and millions of your tax dollars folks. But, you keep blaming Bush. He's done been elected twice. Why spend so much time hating the man? He can't run again! Waste your hate on the next potential candidates that are running. Talk smack about them. At least it would be constructive to your cause.

Dem. city council, Dem. mayor, Dem. Governor, Dem. Senator in La. You want to waylay blame, it starts with them first then runs on up to "W".
