    Default gas hike today

The station where I get my gas jumped the price today for premium from $2.79.9 yesterday to $2.95.9 today and never had a transport delivery yesterday. I have a good notion to contact our Attorney General and let him know. We have a law about price gauging and I would say this qualifys.

It went up .20 a gallon here too. From 2.59 to 2.79 for regular unleaded.
I'm not sure how much a State attorney general would be able to do, given that it seems to be country wide.
I did hear that it should subside back down some within a few months.

They had already stated that gas would go up this week another 15 to 20 cents a gallon. They said dont consider it price gouging unless its like 30 to 40 cents

    Arrow Profit margin....

..you can't expect the oil barons to lose out on profits.....doesn't matter to them that 100 thousands of people out of a home.....extra gas people will need to spend on clean-up and rebuilding should boost the greedy SOB's bottom line....gotta get that price up..you would think they would lower prices to try to help with restoration...I thought TRUE AMERICANS pulled together during time of adversity...

Yeah, this has been simmering on my "back burner" for awhile now,
but this has put me into high gear, to do my part to use as little gas as possible. My upcoming car trade for the wife will have to get better mileage than the car she's got now, not worse like some of the pickups and suvs we'd
been looking at. This winter, I'm gonna try to find a deal on some kind of
little beater motorcycle to ride to work next year, weather permitting,
and my long awaited boat trade will probably feature no more than 115
horses, if that. That big pig to run the tournament trail in is just a memory
now. And I just found out Biodiesel is available in a town about 35 miles
from here, time to see if my farmer father-in-law has got a storage tank
    I can borrow! Jeff

got a truck with a full 38 gallon tank of diesel, sitting in the shop being
worked on, probably have it 2-3 days - if I'm lucky
Update: got it back today! :D Owe them guys a lot, they busted you-know-
what to get it done. Cartwright Dodge/Ford in Booneville, MS. And it looks
good under the hood, too - haven't found a hair out of place yet. They
put an injector pump on my Cummins for me.
